A small airplane has crashed on the corner of Vanowen & Hayvenhurst.
The crash happened around 1:14 PM.
The airplane was a single engine lancair, it seems the airplane crashed shortly after taking off from Van Nuys airport.
There should be an ongoing investigation continuing throughout the evening.
The National Transportation Safety Board will be conducting an investigation in this matter.
During this time the streets are to remain close.
