A small airplane has crashed on the corner of Vanowen & Hayvenhurst. The crash happened around 1:14 PM. The airplane was a single engine lancair, it seems the airplane crashed shortly after taking off from Van Nuys airport. There should be an ongoing investigation continuing throughout the evening.
